Edge Menace

Taken to the Ark - Edge Menace being transported from the Soul Caverns into the Universe of Man during Tales of the Existence.

Edge Menace was a personification of the Mid-Realm and Warden of Man during The Collapse of Tartarus, known for being pilot of the Sixth Generational Ark of Asphodel, creator of the Xark and leader of the Authority during the Mass of the Androids.

Often referred to colloquially as the Interplanetary Salesman, Edge Menace's sole purpose in the Universe of Man was to pilot Sky Arks between the Great Realms via link with The Father, transporting the souls of both man and machine between the Shadow Realm and the Everlight.

During Mass of the Androids, Asphodel inhabitant Syd Wolf is told by Menace that each Xark is being sent forward to the Everlight to inhabit the realm prior to his own arrival, meaning in time he would have a completely submissive population of beings as his wards in the Realm of the Giants. Furthermore, each being enetering within the Everlight has a Shadow Beast cast into the Night Realm instantaneously upon arrival. The implications of which do not seem to deter Menace, as it has never been proven that Shadows may enter the realm of Light, as spoken in his Dream text "No Shadows may rise in the Valley of the Sun".

Though contrary to standard belief, Xark are encasings of both light and dark rather than being Shadows alone, and therefore can become beings of the Everlight once passing through the Edge.

During Henry's Inquest of the 45th Yearn, the remainder of Menace's Shadow is absorbed into the Collective Mind, causing mass data breakdown and terror in the Hyperverse along with its established physical link within the Second Sector.
